Information

Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS-76) is an acute infectious disease caused by adenovirus group III of the Adenoviridae Avian Virus genus with hemagglutination. In some chicken farms, the mass egg production of chickens suddenly decreased, and deformed eggs such as soft-shell eggs, shell-less eggs, and thin-shell eggs were produced at the same time. The whole course of the disease lasts for 5-6 weeks, after which the egg production rate gradually rises, but it is difficult to reach the level before the decline

Principle of the Test

This kit use indirect ELISA method, pured EDS76 antigen is pre-coated on enzyme micro-well strips.Whentesting,adddilutedserumsample,afterincubation,ifthereisEDS76virusspecificantibody,it will combine with the pre-coatedantigen,discardtheuncombined antibody and other components with washing; then add enzyme labled anti-EDS76 virus monoclonal antibody, then combination of monoclonal antibody and pre-coated antigen; discard the uncombined enzyme conjugate with washing; Add TMB substrate in micro-wells, the blue signal by Enzyme catalysis is in inverse proportion of antibody content in sample, use ELISA reader at 450nm wavelenth to measure the absorbance A value in reaction wells after adding stop solution
to stop the reaction.
